Delete your WWRT account
This page explains how to permanently delete your What Went Right Today account and the data tied directly to it.
Delete your account in the app
- Sign in to WWRT.
- Open Settings.
- Find the account deletion section.
- Confirm the deletion request.
Your account remains usable during a 14-day grace period. You can cancel from Settings until deletion processing begins.
If you cannot access your account
You may request account deletion by emailing privacy@whatwentright.app. When possible, send the request from the email address associated with your WWRT account so we can verify it.
Please do not send passwords, authentication tokens, identity documents, or sensitive reflection content by email. We will process verified deletion requests as required by applicable law and our policies.
What is deleted
- your user account;
- linked Google or Apple authentication account records;
- active sessions;
- saved reflections;
- account settings and preferences directly tied to the deleted user.
What may be retained
Limited records may be retained when necessary for security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, legal compliance, audit, and system-integrity purposes.
Retained records are limited and are not used to restore the deleted account or recover deleted reflections.
Final deletion is permanent
After the grace period, deletion processing permanently removes the account. Deleted reflections cannot then be recovered.
